Background

The Young Astronomers Award, established in 2023, is awarded to youth members of the RASC who have made significant contributions at the National and/or Centre levels.

To submit a nomination, please email the Awards Committee chair by December 31. Letters of nomination must include: (a) the name and address of the two nominators; (b) the name, address, and RASC Centre affiliation of the nominee (if attached to a Centre); (c) a citation establishing the suitability of the nominee for this award (300-500 words).
