The RASC Robotic Telescope

The Robotic Telescope Project began as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Our goal is to provide our community with a high quality robotic telescope located at a pristine, dark-sky site, for use in astrophotography, science and outreach.

Join us on our mission to enhance understanding of and inspire curiosity about the Universe, through public outreach, education, and support for astronomical research.

Through partnerships, sponsorships, and donations, we will create a way for people of all ages to learn more about the night sky. It will permit teams to access a research-grade telescope.  The project will support public education, outreach, research, and astro-imaging.

Come with us on our journey to the stars. Be the fuel that propels us forward with a donation.

Follow the links to the left to learn about active projects and access to the telescope.
