Accepting the Larsen Refractor from J.K. Larsen, 1969.

At the January meeting of the Centre, Mr. J.K. Larsen presented the Society with a 3" Unitron telescope. This instrument is equipped with manual controls, a spectroscope and a unihex eyepiece set-up. The president, Mr. G.A. Thede, received the telescope and thanked Mr. Larsen. He showed the meeting a brass plate which was to be affixed to the telescope, designating the telescope as the "Larsen Telescope." The Larsen Telescope may be used by members upon application to the Curator, Mr. J.G. Craig.
