Whoe'er would search the starry sky,
Its secrets to divine, sir,
Should take his glass—I mean, should try
A glass or two of wine, sir!
True virtue lies in golden mean,
And man must wet his clay, sir;
Join these two maxims, and 'tis seen
He should drink his bottle a day, sir!
The new limited-run “vintage” RASC t-shirt features an image from the Society’s rich archives. The striking design is an evocative invitation to an astronomical past which has shaped where we are today, and whose traces can still be seen in our science.
The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is dedicated to encouraging improved understanding of astronomy for all people through education, outreach, research, publication, partnership, enjoyment, partnership, and community.
To do all this, the RASC offers its members many ways to get involved. If you have an interest in astronomy, and if you would like to spread the word about our great hobby, we would like you to help us out as a volunteer.
