                     COMET ALCOCK, 1936b.

On March 19, G.E.D. Alcock made his third comet discovery.
It was about magnitude 8 at the time, and is now slowly
becoming brighter.  During April and May it will be
visible in binoculars or small telescopes, and will be
circumpolar for most Canadian observers until mid May.
The following ephemeris was supplied by Michael McCants,
and is based on 8 observations to April 1.  No epoch was
stated, but it appears to be for about 1950.
